Defeat Walter Lanford

Defeat Walter Lanford is a main story quest that pits Kliff against the dangerous shotgun-wielding enforcer at the Alfonso Estate. Walter Lanford fights with a unique double-barreled shotgun that deals devastating close-range damage with wide spread patterns.

The key to defeating Walter is maintaining medium range where his shotgun spread is less concentrated while still being close enough to punish his reload windows. Dodge his shots by moving laterally rather than backwards, as the spread widens with distance. After emptying both barrels, Walter has a long reload animation that provides an excellent attack window.
